I just watched this video on Max. X about 15 minutes ago! It was a screwed up deal. The police officer was 100% WRONG! I don't think it was necessarily a matter of racism though. Brandi could have and should have handled the situation a hell of a lot better. This in no way dismisses the cop's wrong doing. But she was out of line with her foul mouth and bad attitude. She did NOT deserve to be maced, but her manager should have controlled her and handled the situation with the cop. Her her fucked up attitude got her a face full of mace, a hospital visit AND $60,000.00!
While I agree with nemesis459 that the officer was out of line and did indeed intrude on the fast food workers civil liberties (to a point) and should be severely reprimanded (which he was not),just because Brandi was/is a fast food worker does not mean that she is incapable of understanding when to behave like a rational human being, even in the face of accusations. I am sure that she WAS trained how to handle a dispute with customers (regardless if they are police officers or not). It could have been anyone accusing her of theft. Her attitude, demeanor and behavior were deplorable. The officer was twice as disgusting.He was out of line in accusing her in such a harsh manner. He used or attempted to use intimidation to somehow prove his invalid point. Neither of them worked with the store manager or took time to listen to each other or themselves. Unfortunately they BOTH represent their respective careers quite well.
