Worm strikes down Windows 2000 pc's CNN, New York Times, ABC report crashes

A fast-moving computer worm is shutting down computer systems using Microsoft operating software, hitting computer systems in the United States and reportedly in Asia and Germany.

While the worm primarily affects Windows 2000, it also can affect some early versions of Microsoft XP, security experts say.
